Replacement UV germicidal lamps from AMPAC Water Systems restore full disinfection performance to ultraviolet water purification systems. UV lamps degrade over time, losing intensity even when still illuminated. Replace annually or when your UV intensity monitor drops below 90% of rated output. UV lamps emit 254nm UV-C light to inactivate bacteria, viruses, and cysts without chemicals, taste, or odor effects. Rated lamp life: 9,000-12,000 hours depending on model.
